There many places on the web where you can find listings of directories that are
categorized as free, niche, high value, etcetera. The problem is these listings
are, in my opinion, poorly maintained and sometimes contain incorrect
information.
Of course, a lot of sites ask for a reciprocal link. Many though, drop you out of
their index after a short time or create some sort of excuse to not accept you in
the first place. This happens all the time. We try to keep our list of cooperating
directories up-to-date with the ones that have asked for a reciprocal link and
honored their end of the business as well. If you have doubts, please call or
contact us because this list isn't updated as frequently as I would like.
Lastly, two bits of advice.
These are the directories we are cooperating with now
optimization. A perfect link would:
- cost nothing;
- come from a high page-ranking page of a reputable site;
- with few other outbound links on the page; and
- have no requirement for a reciprocal link.

- Don't publish reciprocal links on a page called "reciprocal links" or
"links". Bury them deep in your site (if you can) and refer to them
unobtrusively. Use the rel="nofollow" attribute when creating links.
- Make use of tools to reduce the amount of time spent link building by
using a free or paid submission tool. The free one we use is called
